Seraph of the End

              Seraph of the End is an action-supernatural genera based anime.Its story takes place in a world where a human-made virus spreads across the globe killing everyone older than 13 years. Unaffected from the virus, the vampires take away the alive children as their remaining livestock. Yuichiro, and his friends from the orphanage are enslaved by the vampires along with plenty other kids. At the age of  12, Yu with his friend Mika, plan on escaping the vampires with their family.But their plan fails, and Yu ends up escaping alone at the cost of his friends' lives. 

             Yu gets recruited by the Moon Demon Company, and swears to kill all the vampires as revenge for his family. At the same time, Mika is alive and is looking for his only family, Yu.

       

         The plot is well constructed and the premise of the story is interesting.Yet, what makes one like the show are the characters. Yu is a stubborn hot-headed boy with a greed for revenge. Shinoa, the leader of Yu's squad, always keeps him in check and teases him for his stupidity. All the characters are fun and their interactions are always amusing to watch.

        The anime had a good start, but the last few episodes are just confusing and the second season ended on a cliffhanger. This shows that the anime was not very popular.
