Falling for Fall

Asheville was recently named one of America’s “top fall fishing destinations.” It’s the kind of recognition that makes local anglers wince, but it’s true. The picture above shows why; beautiful scenery, great fishing and friendly people. All we’re missing this year is water. As you can see in the picture above, our streams are still really low. But they weren’t too low to keep this tenkara first-timer from completing a Rainbow/Brookie/Brown trifecta with this lovely Brown trout.
