Twelve American Senior Communities (ASC) communities have been named “Best Nursing Homes” by U.S. News & World Report, for 2024. U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in health care rankings and consumer advice, provides trusted and unbiased annual rankings of nursing homes that help consumers and families decide where to go to receive quality rehabilitation and nursing home care. The 2024 edition of Best Nursing Homes surveyed more than 15,000 nursing homes, evaluating them on patient and resident outcomes such as infection rates, staffing levels, health inspection results and other indicators of quality. To be recognized as one of the 2024 U.S. News Best Nursing Homes, a home must have been “High Performing” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, or both.
Only twenty-four total communities in Indiana earned this distinction, with half of them being managed by American Senior Communities.
