Forbes Magazine Names American Senior Communities as a Best Employer for Veterans 

Forbes Magazine named American Senior Communities as a “Best Employer for Veterans” in their 2023 survey. Forbes conducts an annual survey of veterans who work for companies with over 1,000 employees. Survey participants were asked if they would recommend their company or organization to friends or family. They were also asked to rate their employer on criteria such as salary, career advancement opportunities, onboarding programs, health benefits and representation of veterans in upper management.

Donna Kelsey, a 26-year veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve, successfully served as CEO of American Senior Communities from 2017 to 2023, and continues to offer her leadership as Senior Advisor.
