Alexisonfire & Underoath Reschedule Brisbane Date Due To Cyclone Alfred

Alexisonfire and Underoath will now play two shows in Brisbane next week after their show at the Riverstage, scheduled for today, was postponed.

Post-hardcore and emo icons Alexisonfire and Underoath love their Australian fans and would do anything to play a show, including moving an outdoor Brisbane show indoors and making shows happen.

Earlier this week, it looked like the bands would be another casualty of Cyclone Alfred. However, tour promoters Frontier Touring gave fans hope by announcing that their show, which would have been held at the Riverstage today, would be rescheduled.

Yesterday (7 March), they made good on that promise, announcing that Alexisonfire and Underoath would now be performing two shows in Brisbaneâ€”at the Fortitude Music Hallâ€”on Saturday, 15 March, and Sunday, 16 March.

Ticketmaster will send punters information about the new dates, how to choose preferred dates, and how to request a refund if you can no longer make it to the rescheduled dates.

Additional tickets will be available soon. However, Ticketmaster and Frontier need to finish reallocating ticket holders to the new dates. Punters can check Frontier Touringâ€™s social media and website on Wednesday (12 March) for updates.

The Brisbane dates are now at the end of the bandsâ€™ run. The tour begins at Perth HPC (formerly HBF Stadium) on Thursday, 6 March, before heading to Sydneyâ€™s Hordern Pavilion on Tuesday, 11 March, and Melbourneâ€™s Festival Hall on Friday, 14 March.
