"Maybe now is the time to put it on the table."
Aussie pop legend Kylie Minogue has revealed that shes considering taking her iconic performances to the grandeur of stadium stages.
Having dazzled audiences worldwide with 19 concert tours since her debut in the late 1980s, theres no doubt Kylie is no stranger to commanding stages of various sizes. While currently enjoying a brief hiatus from her successful More Than Just a Residency show at The Venetian in Las Vegas, the pop icon hinted at the possibility of a stadium performance.
"I dont know if I am a stadium artist but maybe now is the time to put it on the table. I would love to do that one amazing show and bring it all together, Minogue reportedly told The Sun.
Earlier this year, Minogue made a surprise appearance at Capital's SummerTime Ball at Wembley Stadium, where she performed her hit track Padam Padam and again hinted at her desire for a stadium performance,
"When I did Capitals SummerTime Ball I was just there for a couple of songs but I have to admit it did feel good to be in a stadium", Minogue said of the performance.
Kylie also admitted that it "matters" to her to achieve success in the US after having conquered her local and other international markets.
It matters a little. It's something that I'm working on, it's part of why I am here and why I am in your land. How much success is enough success?"
Kylie dropped her latest album Tension in September 2023, with The Music saying of the project: Although 36+ years deep in her career, Kylies perennially youthful, sweet, breathy vocals glow with humanity. No AI/computer could replicate her spirit, which infuses every single syllable she delivers.
This pop princess simply refuses to retire her dancing shoes (sparkly, strappy stilettos, obvs) and defies ageism by continuing to release top-tier arousal anthems. Tension is a chic collection of songs to help us pull in da club, soundtrack all-night raves and make our hearts sing/go Padam Padam.
