Featured on AutoHunter, the online auction platform driven by ClassicCars.com, is this 1967 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S fastback. It is powered by a 383cid V8 paired to a four-speed manual transmission. Features on this vehicle include front disc brakes, Cragar mags, Hurst shifter, and MSD ignition system, among others. Finished in dark bronze over a black vinyl interior, this second-generation Barracuda is offered by the selling dealer with the original Certicard and a clear title.

The Dark Copper metallic (code H) exterior, reportedly with the original sheet metal, is said to be rust-free. Features Formula S and 383 badging, later-model stainless front and rear windshield trim, antenna, dual mirrors, rocker moldings, and dual exhaust system. According to the selling dealer, the chrome has been restored and the stainless trim has been polished.

Fifteen-inch Cragar S/S chrome wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich redline tires.

Originally fitted with Copper upholstery (code H6K), this Barracuda’s bucket-seat interior now features black vinyl, including the fold-down rear bench. Other features include aluminum door sill plates, LED dash lighting, woodgrain-look trim, AM radio, and Hurst shifter.

Instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer, 6,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer currently reads 61,778 miles.

The rebuilt, reportedly numbers-matching 280-horsepower 383 bears casting number 2468130-9. It is fed by a four-barrel carburetor and has been upgraded with an MSD electronic ignition system, aftermarket camshaft, and balanced aluminum driveshaft. The selling dealer notes that this Barracuda has the correct exhaust manifolds, factory chrome valve covers and air cleaner, and re-cored three-core radiator.. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a rebuilt, reportedly numbers-matching four-speed manual transmission and 3.23 Sure-Grip differential.

The front suspension has been rebuilt. Stopping power comes from manual disc brakes up front, drums in the rear.
