Bonza Handles Over 650,000 Passengers in 2023

Australian carrier Bonza has this week celebrated 650,000 passengers handled throughout the whole of 2023.

The airline has made significant waves since launching operations, and looks to grow even further going into 2024.

Within those 650,000 customers, over A$100m has been saved through the use of low cost airfares across Australia.

The fleet has grown to 6 aircraft, and more than 1.5m Australians have downloaded their app over the course of this year.

Tim Jordan, the CEO of Bonza had this to say on this year’s performance:

“More than 1.5 million Aussies have downloaded the Fly Bonza app showing that Aussies are embracing a new way of travelling with our app-first approach as we revolutionise domestic travel.”

“We know we are in a Shazza versus Goliath battle versus the effective duopoly but Australians are appreciating the positive change that we are bringing.”

All eyes will be on how Bonza will perform in 2024, as they continue their path of revolutionising air travel for people in Australia.
