Executives expect Pascal Siakam to be traded

In a major trade, the Toronto Raptors sent OG Anunoby, Precious Achiuwa, and Malachi Flynn to the New York Knicks for RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley, and a 2024 second-round pick from the Detroit Pistons. Despite this, NBA executives speculate that the Raptors may not be done dealing.

During the summer, there were talks of trading Pascal Siakam to the Atlanta Hawks. However, a contract extension with Siakam has yet to be finalized, with an informal deadline of December 30 passing.
