Just a few weeks ago, Prime Video delivered an absolute gut punch to fans of one of its newest crime dramas, Countdown. The streamer’s summer hit with plenty of high-octane flair was a favorite among fans, but didn’t perform quite as well with critics, which undoubtedly led to its rushed cancellation after one season. Although audiences may be left wondering about the fates of characters like Jensen Ackles’ Mark Meachum and Jessica Camacho’s Amber Oliveras, the actors behind the fictional personalities are doing just fine. News broke yesterday that Countdown star, Eric Dane, has already lined up his next gig, as he’s set to appear in the second season of NBC’s latest hit procedural, Brilliant Minds.
