Days of Our Lives spoilers for Feb 02-06, 2026 suggest EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is going to unite the DiMeras and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) is kidnapped.
If you listen here often, you know that on Early Edition Day, we always start with what’s happening the rest of this week and then we dive into what’s ahead for next week.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Wednesday January 28 Drama
On Wednesday, January 28th, we’ve got Abe Carver (James Reynolds) getting some really upsetting news from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). He shows Abe a photo of Liam’s mugshot and says the guy that Abe’s been tutoring may have helped kidnap Theo and the other DiMeras. It looks like Peter Blake (Jason Brooks) hired local bad boy Liam to help do his dirty work, and the ISA uncovered a money trail between them.
That’s not a good look. You know that poor little kid, his son, has him as a criminal single dad. I think he said that the little boy’s mom just ODed, so this is going to get messy fast. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) celebrate milestones, which could be personal or professional. Those two have been friends for so long that there are so many options.
Meanwhile, Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson), and Stephanie get together at the apartment to plot to nab the stalker with no idea that Owen is listening in on every word. Steve is saying they need to make sure the stalker knows that there’s a chance to get Stephanie alone. Of course, the stalker is listening in through the bug in the frame that’s supposedly from EJ.
Stephanie’s Stalker One Step Ahead
If they figure out there’s a bug, that’s going to throw shade at EJ. We already have Jeremy Horton (Trevor Donovan) being set up, so this is a pretty clever stalker. I do wonder if there’s going to be an engagement party in Horton Square as part of the plan to catch the stalker. Stephanie is definitely kidnapped before too long, and obviously it’s because the stalker can stay one step ahead of all of them thanks to that bug.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) talk shop. He got Theo’s thumbs up to look at publishing Bonnie’s dirty book, so Johnny’s going to go talk to Kate about it. But I am still worried this is some sort of scheme by Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Kate to sabotage DiMera Enterprises.
DOOL Spoilers: Thursday January 29 Secret Pregnancy and Family Exits
Thursday, January 29th, we’ve got Johnny delivering great news to Bonnie. It looks like Johnny’s going to tell her DiMera can publish her steamy romance novel. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) tries to reach out to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd). I wonder if Dr. Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) is encouraging this like she encouraged the Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) meeting.
Or maybe Chanel reaches out on her own. She may want to see for herself if Trey’s birth mother is doing okay or not. Chanel may want to update Sophia on Trey and say, “Look, we had him christened. Here’s some photos.” She may also reveal her own pregnancy at that time.
Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes) gets a warning from her mom, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), and it could be about sorority rush. We know that she knows that Arianna’s been out drinking with her fake ID and carrying on. Gabi may worry that Ari’s going to party herself right out of college.
Jennifer Helps Chad on Days
Plus, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) tells Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that she will help him on Thursday. I wonder if this is her saying she’ll help convince Thomas DiMera (Christopher Cary) that he and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) are really done.
This may be when Jen suggests that Chad and the kids stay with her and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) in Boston for a bit. We know there’s a lapse between when Billy Flynn and Christopher Cary exit and when their recasts start airing in April of 2026 on Days of our Lives.
Also this week, Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) and her client Chad get together with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), who’s representing Jack and Jennifer. Chad has promised to add a “no contact with Cat” clause or a “no dating Cat” clause to help ease Thomas’ mind.
Days of Our Lives Friday January 30: Shocking Confessions and Recast Rumors
On Friday, January 30th, we’ve got Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) preparing Rachel Black (Alice Halsey). I assume this is to meet with the judge so that the kid can confess to shooting her uncle EJ on accident. Although, if you point a gun at somebody and they get shot, that’s not really an accident.
Anyway, this could see Rachel’s sentenced to Bayview for a while, even until age 18, given the file that DCFS already has built on her and the cautions that Kristen and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) were getting about if she steps out of line again.
Days of Our Lives: Will Recasts be SORAS’d?
I also wonder if we might get a Rachel SORAS — soap opera rapid aging syndrome — recast when they replace Alice Halsey and Holly Jonas. You know, they could say that she was sent away for years and then, boom, she’s back and she’s 18.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) gets aggressive and calls another von Leuschner hater to help her. It’s Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel), who hates Dimitri von Leuschner DiMera’s (Peter Porte) family now more than ever. Gwen’s looking for her help to get rid of Dimitri again.
I wonder if Vivian might have a way to block Dimitri from divorcing Gwen. Right now Dimitri thinks he’s cool and he can divorce her and then go marry Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) if he wants to. Vivian may offer to send Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) to grab Dimitri and stick him back in a cage in Alamainia.
Marlena warns Xander about something by the end of the week. It may be about Basic Black or maybe about Xander not going nuts with jealousy about Brady and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), who he knows are dating. Plus, Brady gets some honesty from Sarah. I wonder if she’s going to tell Brady that Kristen’s told her to stay away because it’s the best thing for Rachel.
What’s ironic about this is Brady was telling Kristen that the therapist was very clear that they need to stand together and say, “No, we’re not reuniting.” But then Kristen is basically doing the same exact thing by manipulating Brady’s love life. Meanwhile, Leo needs to find a way to get Dimitri off his mind and get Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) back in his arms.
Days of Our Lives Weekly Spoilers: February Sweeps and the DiMera Legacy
The week of February 2nd through the 6th is the first full week of February sweeps. We’re going to have Stephanie kidnapped soon thanks to that bugged frame and Owen Kent (Wes Ramsey) knowing everything. Alex is going to attack Jeremy, assuming he’s the kidnapper. The big question is whether he and Owen are working together or if Jeremy is just a red herring.
Liam is likely going to be arrested soon. And he may take a plea deal where he’ll get a pass if he helps Rafe find the ultimate boss behind the kidnapping. Abe may never forgive himself for bringing Liam back into Theo’s life after he finds out that he was part of the kidnapping.
Proper Send-off for Stefano DiMera
The DiMeras want to host a proper burial and memorial for Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). It’s kind of strange since Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) swears he put Stefano’s bones into a slot in the mausoleum. So, how did they wind up under the concrete? EJ soon puts on Stefano’s ring and reassures everybody the DiMeras will not fall.
We’re going to have Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) back for this memorial service. And Theo’s out of the hospital and is there. We’re also getting closer to bringing back the dead woman in the test tube. We’re going to do another video on that. Check back tomorrow because there’s another candidate that’s possible for who is the woman in the tube.
Rafe may agree to hear Kristen out when she brings up plotting to expose EJ again. Xander is going to hit the sheets with Gwen soon. Holly is rushing to join a Salem youth sorority and then cops a bad attitude. And Sophia is plotting against all of her enemies.
