Coastal House Media Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to rewrite the box office record books.
The latest Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures blockbuster has officially surpassed $700 million at the domestic box office, reaching the milestone faster than any movie in history. The film crossed the mark after just 13 days in theaters, bringing its North American total to approximately $704.5 million as of Wednesday.
The achievement puts Brand New Day ahead of previous record holders Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame, both of which needed 16 days to reach $700 million domestically.

It also places Tom Holland’s latest Spider-Man adventure in extremely rare company. Only seven movies have ever crossed $700 million at the domestic box office, including The Force Awakens, Endgame, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avatar, Top Gun: Maverick and Black Panther.
The record is just the latest milestone in what has become a historic theatrical run for Brand New Day. The film opened to a record-breaking $360 million domestically and surpassed $1 billion worldwide within its first week. It has since become the highest-grossing movie of 2026 and currently sits above $1.8 billion globally.
With another weekend approaching and relatively little slowing down Spider-Man’s momentum, Brand New Day now has a legitimate shot at challenging Spider-Man: No Way Home and potentially climbing even higher among the biggest movies of all time.
