As was confirmed after the phenomenal success of 2023’s Evil Dead Rise, two more Evil Dead spin-off movies are in the works.
Of course, we know Evil Dead Burn is due for release July 24th this year.
However, we know very little about the seventh film announced alongside Evil Dead Burn, besides Francis Galluppi being attached to direct.
Now, we have an exciting new development, as Galluppi’s still untitled film sets its cast.
Undoubtedly, the most recognisable name to board the project is actor Zach Gilford, who is currently starring as serial killer Elias Voit in Criminal Minds: Evolution.
Mortal Kombat star Jessica McNamee is also aboard, alongside The Nun actress Charlotte Hope.
Other cast members include Josh Helman, Ella Newton, and Elizabeth Cullen.
Plot details remain unknown, as does the film’s official title.
Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi will executive produce the film, alongside series producer Rob Tapert, star Bruce Campbell, and Evil Dead Rise director Lee Cronin.
The untitled Evil Dead film doesn’t currently have a release date, but is set to be released through New Line Cinema via Warner Bros.
