QBS Software has acquired 100% of the shares in Infonet Bilgi Teknolojileri Tic. A.Ş., the specialist software and cybersecurity distributor based in Türkiye. This investment reflects QBS Software’s long-term commitment to the Turkish market and its growing importance as a regional technology hub.

The acquisition strengthens QBS Software’s position in Türkiye and forms part of the Group’s broader strategy to build a leading specialist software distribution platform across the EMEA region, complementing a track record of consistent growth driven by organic expansion and precision acquisitions. This approach, alongside a recurring revenue model, has enabled QBS to scale while maintaining service quality and operational focus.

Infonet brings deep local market expertise, strong vendor relationships, and a highly experienced team serving partners and customers across the Turkish technology channel. The acquisition is expected to accelerate growth in Türkiye by expanding access to global vendors while continuing to support the needs of local resellers and service providers with value-added services.

As part of the transition, Uğur Uçanok has been appointed General Manager of Infonet Türkiye, succeeding Taner Özdeş, who has stepped down from his role. QBS Software thanks Taner Özdeş for his leadership and valuable contribution to Infonet and wishes him well in his future endeavours.

Dave Stevinson, CEO of QBS Software, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Infonet to the QBS Software Group. Türkiye is an important and fast-growing market within the EMEA technology channel, and Infonet provides us with a strong local platform, a respected team, well-established relationships, and clear opportunities for growth.

I would like to thank Kemal Cılız for building such a strong business and for his support during the transition period.  I would also like to recognise Taner Özdeş’s contribution to Infonet and thank him for his leadership over the years. With Uğur Uçanok now leading the business as General Manager, we are confident that Infonet will continue to grow and succeed as part of QBS.

We are committed to investing in the local team, strengthening our partner ecosystem, and expanding our vendor portfolio in Türkiye”

Uğur Uçanok, General Manager of Infonet Türkiye, said:

“This is an exciting new chapter for Infonet. Joining QBS Software gives us access to greater scale, broader vendor relationships, and the capabilities of an international software distribution group.

Our focus remains on supporting our vendors, partners, and customers with the same commitment and local expertise they have come to expect from us, while also creating new opportunities for growth.”

Kemal Cılız, founder of Infonet, added:

“I am proud of what Infonet has achieved so far and grateful to the team, vendors, and partners who have supported the business over the years. I believe QBS Software is the right home for Infonet’s next phase of development, and I look forward to supporting Uğur Uçanok and the wider team during the transition.”

The acquisition is effective immediately. For a transitional period, Infonet will continue to operate under its existing brand in Türkiye, supported by the resources and expertise of QBS Software while maintaining its strong local identity, team, and partner relationships. The business will subsequently rebrand to QBS Software Turkey.
