I’m confident Mamdani would lose in a re-vote because even the few sensible Democrats would vote against him. I agree the Republicans should have fielded a stronger candidate, but he caught everyone off guard. Let’s treat this as a fluke—and correct it.
The young, entitled voters aren’t numerous or experienced enough to fully understand the consequences of what they’ve done. I agree that New York needs younger, stronger leadership. While this election sent a strong message, it was entirely in the wrong direction.
