In today’s ALL-NEW blog post, I share ‘my take’ on the current wave of exposures within the global spiritual community. With the release of The Epstein files, key spiritual leaders, namely Deepak Chopra, are being brought into serious question. Who, or what can we place our trust in?

Dear Awakened Souls,
As I write this to you today, the world is a very different place to what it was at the end of 2025, as an intensive 9 year cycle, that began in 2017 - finally completed. Indeed, much of what we’re seeing unfold and accelerate in 2026 (both personally and collectively) had its genesis around the year 2017. The repercussions and consequences of the past near decade of lies and deception now come to bear.
One could say that we’ve well and truly entered ‘The Age of Exposure’ an outcropping of our movement into The Aquarian Astrological Era. For, a hallmark of The Aquarian Age is truth and equality wanting to be set free. And, we’re certainly seeing that.
In particular and for the community that aligns with my work, spirituality is and will be called to account. It goes mainstream.
WE’RE AWAKENED ENOUGH
Back in June 2025, you heard me saying we’re ‘Awakened Enough’, that those who’ve been on their spiritual path for some time had to stop seeking and start doing - walking their talk, being embodied examples, embracing and integrating the dark and light - all of it, to be in our full integrity in the new era unfolding. It’s when I stopped conducting live videos and posting on YouTube. It’s when many of you withdrew yourselves, to contemplate, apply and to prepare for what was to come.
And this isn’t a new theme - walking your spiritual talk. It is and always has been the whole point of waking up to who we are as spiritual beings in a human experience, recognising and exploring the very depths of what makes us tick, which does take us through murky, darker aspects to own and choose to transform through the recognition of what we’re capable of. It’s a life-long (often difficult) journey to integrate head and heart, personality and soul. It’s a journey that some choose to side-step, as the ego becomes over inflated and self-serving.
The old saying, ‘a little learning is a dangerous thing’ rings true for the spiritual community in particular. And so, with our entry into 2026 (the 1 Universal Year) the beginning of a new era for bringing your whole self to the table, we see an explosion of prominent world and spiritual leaders being exposed for their dark, manipulative and abusive ways. The very opposite of equality, this promotes domination.
THIS IS NOT A TIME TO BE SILENT
And this saddens millions who have looked up to these people and in many cases have modeled their lives (and work) on their teachings for decades. I understand. I hear you and as someone who has been on their spiritual path since the mid 1990’s, having worked toward having my voice and messages being heard all around the world, I feel that it’s my duty of care and my strong desire to share my take on it.
For, this is not a time to be silent. You can feel it. This is a time to speak up and to share with respect and consideration. There’s already a plethora of abrasive content, scraping against old emotional wounds, opening up memories of all the times when we’ve been hurt, ridiculed and judged. Yet, this is what happens when we face our dark. When what’s hidden in the shadows demands to be acknowledged.
And so, let’s delve into the dark, the light and the sheer number of personal truths that are rising to the surface at incredible speed. This is our opportunity to be honest, outspoken and strong in our personal power, as illusions fade and reality hits us hard in the face.
THE EPSTEIN FILES
Let’s start by addressing the topic that no one can escape in 2026 and that’s the daily truth bombs being dropped via the millions of documents finally being accessed from the files of convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. If you haven’t already accessed them and read them for yourself then I encourage you to do so. Facing the cold hard facts helps us to make peace with and come to terms with what’s really happening under the surface of things. This is a growing of list of those appearing in the files
DEEPAK CHOPRA - Some Male Spiritual Leaders - Be Careful
I’ll choose to focus on the prominent spiritual teacher Deepak Chopra, because out of all the spiritual teachers and leaders mentioned in the files (those who had contact with Epstein) he appears to be mentioned a lot. Currently 3,350 times. That’s extensive. And as you read his exchanges with Epstein, it becomes apparent that they were close, with a shared, nefarious interest in attractive young girls.
Yes, it’s disgusting. It’s everything that we don’t want to hear about those in positions of authority. But it doesn’t surprise me regarding Chopra. I was never drawn to his work. I always felt that something was off. I had my own personal (mini) brush with Chopra, when meeting a senior publishing executive in Sydney in 2018, who proceeded to laugh and exchange texts with Chopra the whole way through our meeting. He was very obviously big-noting himself in front of me, while diminishing the importance of our meeting. I took note.
AI DEEPAK
If you’re unaware, Chopra has also created his own AI platform, which launched last November, featuring an AI version of himself that will live online - in perpetuity! He’ll get to influence people, well beyond the grave. Please read about it here This from a man who has made one public statement on social media, since his Epstein connections were made public, denying any wrongdoing, calling his emails ‘poor judgement in tone’, while turning all comments off, so that no one can respond.
Personally, I’ve always held the stance to be very wary of some male spiritual leaders in this space. Why? Because the vast majority of spiritual seekers are females. We’re hard wired for spirituality. Being intuitive and receptive comes naturally to most women. Yet, we live in a world that is dominated by the male presence and this is no different in the spiritual arena.
THE WATKINS SPIRITUAL 100 LIST
If one looks at the lauded Watkins Spiritual 100 List for 2026 (which includes several people mentioned more than once in The Epstein Files - including Chopra, listed at No.18) approx. 30% of the prominent world spiritual leaders on this list are female. This list includes those who’ve made a spiritual impact via religion, the new age, self-development, the arts, media, entertainment, psychology, environmentalism etc. Now, given that spirituality is generally (publicly) embraced by a predominantly female audience, why is it that leaders in this space (approx. 70% or more) tend to be male?
To me, it’s akin to the 80/20 rule in reverse. Because, throughout my time in the spiritual space, 80-85% of my audience has always been female, with 15-20% male. Is that because I’m female? Possibly? Or is it just the norm that 80% of spiritual seekers are female, but we’re not represented at the top by a reflection in the same percentage of female spiritual leaders? If so, why is that? Well, there may be several reasons. One being that society traditionally tends to elevate males into leadership positions. The church always has and many still equate spirituality with religion. Men tend to stand in their authority with greater ease, more than women, because they’re taught to, while women are generally taught to support. Hence, why we have so many women working as healers, often being too humble to take on leadership roles.
And I hear you. You may be saying, But that’s not me. I do my best to stand in my power and I treat women and men equally. And I agree. I love equality. I always have and I’ve had to teach myself how to stand in my power too. Often times, being ridiculed for it by family, friends and the wider community. I once had an older man email me and ask, What gave me the authority to say what I did? And I replied, Well, I do of course!
WOMEN IN THE SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY
My point being, that the spiritual community has a lot of females within it (doing the heavy lifting of the healing work) and fewer males in the space, even though they tend to rise to positions of power within it. Which is why we need to be careful, because, the ego (the personality) is huge within the spiritual space. And the spiritual space is a mecca for women who are trusting and vulnerable.
Now, I’m not saying that all male spiritual teachers/leaders are not to be trusted. Far from it. There’s plenty of genuine male spiritual seekers, healers and teachers in the world and we all know that there’s plenty of female spiritual teachers who’ve lost their way. What I am saying is to use your instinct and intuition with anyone in a position of power and to trust in it and to stick with it. Remember, Timothy Leary’s famous quote Think for yourself. Question authority.
If someone or something resonates, then take what you need and leave the rest. Try not to put anyone on a pedestal. No one is perfect. No one. Everyone is human. We all make mistakes. We’re all a mix of dark and light. We should be doing our best to take responsibility and to walk our talk. To apply the lessons that come to us and to do the work! The whole point of an awakened path is to develop ourselves and to trust in our soul’s wisdom and experience. The whole point (to me anyway) is to channel our own soul’s wisdom and to go into this field with an open heart, but also with plenty of real-life common sense.
Of course, it does take practice to train ourselves to believe in (and to follow) our own instincts and inner guidance. We all learn the hard way, when spirituality is new to us and we’re as newborns in the spiritually aware world. It’s happened to me. I had at least 2 female spiritual teachers take advantage of my trust and keenness to learn when I first entered the spiritual world. I gave over quite a lot of money and time and was offered teaching opportunities which never came.
Indeed, many spiritual teachers become envious and jealous of those up and coming in the field, and they’ll knowingly copy and use other people’s work, under the guise of ‘the universe makes it available to everyone’. Many in the spiritual field know how to manipulate seekers and they won’t have a problem doing it to meet their own ends. I’ve seen it for myself in the upper echelons of teachers and influencers in the world, in my stint as an author for a global publisher and also while traveling to speak at events in the UK and US.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR HEALERS, TEACHERS AND ALL WHO LOVE THE SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY?
Firstly, even though you may feel disheartened, let down and taken advantage of by what’s being revealed in the spiritual community, remember that waking up to who we are as spiritual beings having a human experience, is the cornerstone to understanding what life is all about. Anyone who sincerely asks to know the meaning of life, will at some stage be led to their heart-based, spiritual core. Understanding how life works beyond the five senses is beautiful and revelatory. And, it comes with great responsibility.
We cannot let the actions of some spiritual teachers and leaders, taint our perception of all. If anything, please use this period of time (which may last several years) to become more discerning, to trust in your gut and to take the position of healer/teacher seriously.
INDEPENDENT SPIRITUAL VOICES MATTER
Throughout my career, I’ve resisted the urge to align with and/or to promote or recommend the work of other spiritual teachers. I personally do not follow the work of others in my field. I want to keep my voice pure to what I’m pulling through, without being influenced. I’ve often been questioned about this. And, I’ve stayed true to my intent, because it’s not that I don’t appreciate the work of others and it’s not that I haven’t read the works of others (particularly the ancient teachers), but it’s because I know that I can only be responsible for myself.
Independent spiritual voices matter. When we have the will and the tenacity to bring through our own knowledge and wisdom in our way, with the intent that it empowers others - this heals and this inspires. But, in order to do this, you need to sacrifice a lot. The ways of the personality need to be tamed, in order to walk your talk. Giving over countless hours, weekends, years, missing out on family/friend/relationship/socialising time in order to bring your work through consistently, without a corporate machine to do it for you, really teaches you first-hand, what life is all about.
Ram Dass once said, If you think you’re enlightened, go spend a week with your family. And, I would add, try running your own business and being responsible for your own livelihood. It takes huge effort, discipline and the consistent application of spiritual principles in real life situations. This is something that many at the top level of spiritual leadership do not always follow.
Doreen Virtue, a former prominent spiritual teacher who influenced millions (was one of Hay House’s top authors) and who brought huge disruption to the New Age community in 2017 when she turned to religion (basically saying that the New Age was all the work of the devil) recently shared a video where she openly discusses the fact that when she accompanied Chopra and other well-known spiritual teachers to worldwide events, book signings and tours, they were openly courted by celebrities. In this video, Doreen says about the group of top spiritual teachers that she moved with (herself included) that ‘they had no moral compass, there was a lot of partying and high living, interacting constantly with the elite, with Hollywood directors, producers, actors, actresses, rockstars and models’. The part that really gets to me is ‘no moral compass’. That says it all.
Doreen (not mentioned in The Epstein Files) has done a lot of damage to the spiritual community over the past 9 years, doing her regular best to bring her old new age life (and all those who followed her work) into disrepute. Because in my opinion, she had a lot of darkness that wasn’t being acknowledged and reflected in her work. Hence, religion came knocking, as it often does with open arms for those who seek to be absolved and white-washed of any wrong doing in their previous lives.
KEEP GOING SPIRITUAL COMMUNITY - BE DISCERNING
Those of us who love innate, personal spirituality, keeping it real, working from home and/or for ourselves, interacting with those in our communities physically and online every day, need to honour ourselves and keep on going. Please don’t be swayed by the illusion that ‘being spiritual’ and living a spiritual lifestyle is something glamorous, that it’s something to be ashamed of, or that it’s only for those with a huge reach. It’s not. In truth, it requires a lot of soul searching and tough decision making and sacrifice. I say, ‘sacrifice’ because the old life that you used to know before waking up to your spiritual truth, with the focus only on the physical world, gets completely re-worked when you remember who you are, as you start living a more conscious lifestyle.
BEING TRUE TO YOURSELF - WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS, SOCIETY - WHEN ON THE SPIRITUAL PATH
One of the hardest aspects of choosing to lead a spiritually aware lifestyle is to do so, while facing judgment, misunderstanding and ridicule from those closest to us. I would say that there isn’t one amongst us who hasn’t experienced some type of put down when explaining what you do, what you follow or what you believe in. Family is often ‘the worst’ at doing this to us.
Which is perhaps where so many of these prominent spiritual leaders fall over, because they’re trying so hard to overly prove themselves, so as not be ostracised. Hence, they involve themselves in dubious mainstream activities, with over-inflated egos. All the while, telling us to do the opposite. ‘Do as I say, not as I do’, becomes the mantra.
THE SHADOW EXPOSED
And now, their exposure threatens to make it worse for those of us leading content, spiritual lifestyles. If you’re finding yourself distraught and unable to trust those in positions of power in the spiritual community, then embrace what you uncover. Don’t turn away from it. What’s happening in 2026 will continue to unfold for the next decade. It’s the global shadow (our collective dark) having the light thrown onto it. When you look at the continual revelations about corruption and abuse at the very top of society, give yourself permission to acknowledge your own dark and hidden ways, to be responsible for them and to do something about it.
The first public talk that I ever gave 20 years ago, was called ‘It’s Not All About Love and Light’. It felt radical to talk about this topic then, but it was something I felt strongly about, because I had already (back then) encountered many people in the spiritual community, tearing strips off each other, while ending it with, ‘I’m saying it all in love and light’. Well I say, Try and be honest. Be real and own your dark.
THE AQUARIAN AGE - THE AGE OF EXPOSURE
If you’re in a situation where you’re questioning what’s real and what’s fake in the spiritual community, if you’re finding it hard to trust yourself or others, if you feel like reassessing, turning away from it all and retreating from all the noise, know this - thinking, intuiting and doing for yourself is needed, constantly.
The purpose of spiritual teachings is to nurture and trigger your OWN WISDOM. To give you greater faith and trust in yourself, rather than giving your power over to others. The personality (the ego) may take-over when you first come to spirituality, You may be in a bubble that only sees the good and can’t fathom the bad in anyone. Empaths tend to be like this by nature. The personality looks for quick fixes and doesn’t want you to suffer through hard work. The personality will have you thinking that it’s easier to model yourself on someone and what they say, rather than to do the work that they talk about.
If this is happening to you, turn it around and see yourself as the central point of all-knowing. For in reality, you are. Be inspired by what teachers have to share and if it resonates, then do the work yourself. Prove the theories right or wrong, by putting them into action. That way, these teachers won’t deeply disappoint you, because you haven’t given all of your power and hope over to them. Know that WE’RE ALL in a constant stage of learning. Everyone is evolving, no matter how enlightened they appear to be or say they are.
I see it as a natural occurrence of our on-going crossover, out of The Piscean Age, and into The Aquarian Astrological Age that the truth wants to be set free. If you ever needed proof that this astrological shift is real, just look at the exponential rise of AI, with technology and innovation being pure Aquarian traits. Also, The Piscean Age has been marked by the dominance and rise of the great world religions and now as this old age slowly dissolves, spirituality is being handed ‘back to the people’, back to where it belongs.
In my opinion, this is why we’re seeing such an exponential rise in the dismantling of those in power, who’ve been able to abuse their sacred positions of authority for way too long. This unraveling will continue. We still have a long way to go.
The power is coming back home where it belongs, to your own soul, within you. And that, is the silver lining within all of this.
I trust that this blog post has stimulated your higher thoughts, that it’s helped you to reassess what’s happening within the spiritual community globally and that most of all, it’s helped you to further trust in your own divine intelligence and inner knowing - always.
