The Western Conference is tougher than ever, but the Golden State Warriors don’t want to be counted out.
They believe they have the years of experience and expertise that could help them storm through the playoffs.
And according to Shaquille O’Neal, they could be right.
O’Neal said that he has faith in this team, despite the things working against them.
“I trust that five in the playoffs more than I trust any other five. Steph, Jimmy, Draymond, old man Al Horford—that experience alone will be very important—then you’ve got a young guy like Kuminga who’s mixing up very well. When it comes to the postseason, having experience, slowing the game down, and always making the right, critical decision, I like that lineup a lot,” O’Neal said.

The Warriors were very quiet during the offseason, until they weren’t.
They had to hit a pause on all moves until they figured out the Jonathan Kuminga situation.
Once that was settled and Kuminga inked a new deal, the Warriors were able to acquire more talent, such as Al Horford.
Horford has a load of experience, including with the Boston Celtics, where he won a championship a few years ago.
The team is older than just about every other squad in the league, but their great amount of skill is apparent already.
They hold a 4-2 record and have already put away a couple of teams that are much younger and energetic.
NBA fans learned long ago that the Warriors can overperform, impress, and play better than some people expect.
With a healthy Steph Curry at the center of their plans, this team could end up doing better than many people expect.
