Fujiyama Solar, the Indian renewable-energy and solar solutions company owned by UTL, has strengthened its national marketing strategy by appointing Suryakumar Yadav, the India T20I cricket team captain, as its brand ambassador.
The partnership places one of India’s most visible white-ball cricketers at the centre of Fujiyama’s consumer push as demand for clean-energy solutions accelerates.
The agreement spans Fujiyama’s full portfolio of residential and commercial solar panels, inverters, batteries, and rooftop systems. Yadav will feature across television, retail, outdoor, and digital campaigns aimed at expanding the brand’s presence in fast-growing solar markets, particularly in urban and semi-urban regions where adoption is rising.
Fujiyama has been expanding rapidly within India’s solar sector, positioning itself as an affordable and accessible alternative for households and businesses seeking greater energy independence. The company expects the partnership to build trust at a time when government incentives and rising electricity costs are pushing a surge in rooftop solar installations nationwide.
Announcing the association, Yogesh Dua, CEO and Joint Managing Director, Fujiyama Power Systems, said, “Suryakumar Yadav represents performance, dependability, and a fearless approach and qualities that resonate strongly with the ‘Fujiyama Solar’ brand. We are delighted to welcome him to the Fujiyama family. Together, we aim to inspire millions of Indians to ‘Hit Energy Bills for a Six’ by adopting rooftop solar solutions.”
Suryakumar Yadav added, “I am happy to be associated with Fujiyama Solar, a brand committed to building a greener and more energy-efficient India, which is a need of the hour. Solar power and sustainable living are the future, and Fujiyama’s innovation and trust make it a natural choice for every household.”
The endorsement arms Fujiyama with stronger visibility in a sector where brands are competing heavily for mainstream recall. With celebrity-driven campaigns becoming increasingly common across the energy and EV ecosystem, Yadav’s reach in cricket-mad India gives the company a clear competitive lift.
In the cricketing calendar, SKY is currently leading India in the five-match T20I series against South Africa. India won the opening game by 101 runs, with the second match scheduled for December 11 in Chandigarh.
Fujiyama plans to integrate Yadav into its marketing communications throughout the upcoming cricket windows, with new campaigns expected to roll out across broadcast, digital, and retail platforms.
