The global sportswear brand, adidas, has announced a long-term partnership with the German Basketball Federation (DBB), becoming the official outfitter of all German national basketball teams across both 5-on-5 and 3×3 disciplines.

Under the agreement, adidas will supply competition kits, training apparel, footwear, and lifestyle products for the DBB’s full national team structure. The partnership covers all 23 German national teams, including senior men’s and women’s sides, youth and junior teams, and the country’s expanding 3×3 programme. Designed to span multiple international cycles, the deal reflects a long-term strategic commitment rather than a tournament-specific arrangement. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The partnership begins at a high point for German basketball. The men’s national team are reigning FIBA Basketball World Cup champions, while the women’s programme continues to build momentum ahead of upcoming international competitions, including the next Women’s World Cup hosted in Berlin. Germany’s growing presence in the NBA and elite European leagues has further strengthened the sport’s profile and commercial appeal.
