The French vodka brand, GREY GOOSE, has expanded its presence in tennis through a new partnership with the Laver Cup, becoming the official vodka and official vodka cocktail of the 2026 edition in London.
The partnership will be activated when the Laver Cup returns to The O2 from September 25 to 27, with GREY GOOSE introducing a signature cocktail created specifically for the tournament. Named the Goose Breaker, the drink draws its inspiration from the Laver Breaker, the 10-point match tiebreak used when a final set is tied.
The cocktail combines GREY GOOSE vodka with fresh lemonade, tart cranberry juice and blackberry liqueur, and is garnished with three fresh blueberries. Its blue-and-red presentation is designed to bring together the colours associated with Team Europe and Team World, reinforcing one of the Laver Cup’s defining commercial and sporting identities.
The Goose Breaker will be unveiled at the Laver Cup Opening Night Gala before being served in selected premium hospitality areas and concession outlets at The O2. GREY GOOSE will also offer a selection of its other cocktails during the tournament.
Steve Zacks, CEO of the Laver Cup, said, “We’re delighted to welcome GREY GOOSE to Laver Cup 2026. The Goose Breaker is a distinctive addition to our fan and hospitality experience and a great expression of the creativity GREY GOOSE brings to the partnership. We look forward to introducing the signature cocktail to fans at The O2.”
Aleco Azqueta, Global Vice President of Marketing for Grey Goose vodka, added, “The Laver Cup has reimagined the tennis experience by combining elite competition with a unique spirit of camaraderie and connection. GREY GOOSE is proud to build on our longstanding commitment to the sport with the introduction of the Goose Breaker, the signature cocktail of the Laver Cup, inspired by the energy and team spirit that make the event so special.”
For GREY GOOSE, the Laver Cup deal adds another tournament-specific activation to its tennis portfolio. The brand’s Honey Deuce is closely associated with the US Open, while the Lemon Ace has featured at the Australian Open. The Goose Breaker now gives GREY GOOSE another platform to connect its brand with a distinctive tennis property and premium fan experience.
