In 2023, we asked our associates to �Be A Leader� with their words and actions, and they certainly did�through volunteering and philanthropy that exceeded our corporate goals for social impact.

At each Healthcare IT Leaders office, our CARES teams organized local service projects and we designated September as our official Month of Service, encouraging all of our associates to participate in a volunteer activity. Some highlights of our community work:

We spent an afternoon in service with Rise Against Hunger, a non-profit that addresses global food insecurity by distributing meals in remote areas where people face challenges accessing food. Our Alpharetta, GA team measured out and packaged 10,000 rice- and soy-based meals containing 20 essential vitamins and minerals to be shipped to communities in need around the world. In Greenville, SC, our team of volunteers partnered with two non-profits�Upstate Warrior Solution and the Christmas Tree Santas�to distribute free Christmas trees, along with lights, ornaments, a tree stand, and toys, to veteran families brightening their holidays. Our Greater Boston associates helped out at More Than Words, a non-profit social enterprise that operates a used bookstore to raise money for their at-risk youth programs. We collected and donated books to the store and worked in their warehouse sorting and scanning books into the inventory system for resale.

Company-wide we recorded over 1,100 employee hours of community service, equating to over $35,000 of value for the 55 non-profits where we volunteered.

Measuring Our Impact

Healthcare IT Leaders is also committed to corporate philanthropy with a percentage of our profits designated to causes chosen by our employees. In 2023, we supported 72 organizations, donating over $120,000.
