Where to Get Your PDF Patterns Printed
One of the questions I often get during sewing classes is: Where can I get my PDF pattern printed?
There are lots of options out there, offering a wide variety of services—including different paper types, print colour choices, and extras like printing instructions and providing storage envelopes.
To help, here’s a list of trusted places I’ve used myself or that my customers have recommended. Each offers something a little different, so you can choose what works best for you and your project.
I always recommend The Fold line as a great starting point when searching for sewing patterns. Their search tool and huge pattern collection make them a standout in the sewing community.
Every pattern on The Foldline can be ordered as a PDF, and they also offer a print service. Some patterns are available pre-printed, but for those only offered as PDFs, they can print them for you and send them out.
Patternsy offer black and white or colour prints on tissue paper similar to the paper that some commercial patterns are made from so if you prefer that weight of paper then this might be a good option for you.
Planprinting 24 offer a high speed service. Often delivering the day after you order. They print on classic copy paper. If you like the heavier paper this is a good speedy option.
Flamingo prints offer a range of services including large scale printing on 75gsm weight paper and instruction book printing.
CLC prints offer a choice of paper weights. They also include a range of sewing products such as pattern packs, instruction booklets and storage envelopes.
Fabulosew print on a lighter tissue weight paper and offer additional items such as instruction printing, storage envelopes and sew in labels.
