ZIPAIR To Launch Tokyo-Vancouver Flights in March

Japanese carrier ZIPAIR has this week announced plans to launch it’s new services between Tokyo and Vancouver in March 2024.

The airline has been making waves on the international stage, with this new route being the latest in their plans for international growth.

It is understood that services will begin on March 13 next year, with these flights between Tokyo and Vancouver operating on a thrice-weekly basis.

In a statement, the carrier said the following on this:

“ZIPAIR Tokyo announced that the carrier will expand its transpacific network with service between Tokyo Narita and Vancouver International Airport, starting March 13, 2024.”

“The service to Vancouver will become the carrier`s fourth route across the Pacific, following Los Angeles, San José Mineta, and San Francisco International Airport.”

As you can see from the statement, it is clear that the carrier is making strong and steady progress in expanding onto the International stage, with this particularly being in the North American market.

ZIPAIR is in competition against the likes of Japan Airlines, ANA, as well as other North American carriers who also service Tokyo from Vancouver.

Looking ahead, all eyes will be on how the new services perform, as well as whether there is any additional scope to expand frequencies further as we progress through 2024.
