After a Spring in isolation and a Summer unlike no other, the beautiful season of Autumn has finally arrived. The streets are filled with people and the leaves are falling. The temperature is dropping and the frost is starting to appear. As we prepare for the cold Canadian winter let’s first embrace Fall fashion and the fun, light layering that goes with it. 

These ladies are adding a new level of fashion to layering that I personally love!

Adding a cozy sweatshirt under any piece can become a staple for your wardrobe. Such a versatile addition to your closet that can be paired with almost anything. Whether it be styled with a pair of tights and a dress, or a pair of casual business trousers, you will not sacrifice style for comfort with these looks. My advice – the bigger the better.

As Canadians, we must stay true to ourselves with plaid patterns! Hot on the trend list the last while as well. From baggy plaid shirts to wear as an over layer, to skirts, dresses and scarves. This pattern is recognized abundantly across the Canadian border and appreciated for the simplicity it holds.

Exceeding comfortable limitations is what everyone is after during the colder seasons. To execute this properly an oversized cardigan or sweater is a crucial element to any wardrobe in the Fall season.

I personally think any good Fall outfit includes a long trench coat. A long trench can be styled in multiple ways, while adding an extra level of comfort and class. It can be dressed casually or formal. Add a big cozy scarf and you’re set to explore the corn mazes, or search for that perfect pumpkin in the patch.

Any outfit that makes you feel comfortable and glamorous will always exceed your expectations. If you’re not truly comfortable, you won’t thrive in how you want to present yourself.
