One of the India’s top leading sports broadcaster, JioStar has obtained the exclusive broadcast and streaming rights for the US Open Tennis Championships for the next five years.
This historic partnership, obtained by the USTA’s media rights agency, IMG, will see each match from the hard courts of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Centre broadcast on Star Sports Network and streamed on JioHotstar, bringing every ace, rally, and match point right away to millions of Indian screens. The US Open, one of tennis’ most famous Grand Slams, celebrates high-octane action, exciting audiences, and legendary night matches.
This year’s edition offers edge-of-your-seat drama, emerging stars, and confrontations between a new generation of legends, with the men’s and women’s singles Main Draws spread across 15 competition days. Tennis fans in India may expect to see Carlos Alcaraz, Iga Świątek, Novak Djokovic, and Coco Gauff compete, as well as Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka defending their singles championships.
The event also unveiled an overhaul of its US Open Mixed Doubles Championship, which will include 16 star-studded pairings competing for a $1 million prize money for the winning combination. Many of the men and women rated in the top ten will compete, as will nine Grand Slam singles champions and true game legends. Alcaraz will battle with Emma Raducanu, Sinner with Emma Navarro, Świątek with Casper Ruud, Djokovic with fellow Serbian Olga Danilovic, and Venus Williams with Reilly Opelka. In addition, Ben Shelton will team up with world doubles No. 1 Taylor Townsend, while defending US Open Mixed Doubles Champions Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori will contend for the championship.
