HSBC Rugby Premier League (RPL), India’s innovative franchise-based rugby competition, has signed a three-year partnership with Bisleri, the Indian packaged drinking water brand.
As part of the deal, the brand has been named as the league’s official hydration partner. Bisleri will help and hydrate both national and international men’s and women’s players competing in the HSBC Rugby Premier League Season 2, which was launched last year by GMR Sports in collaboration with Rugby India.
Expanding on the success of the initial season and enhanced by the addition of women’s franchises in Hyderabad this year, the collaboration with one of India’s most trusted packaged drinking water companies will see the launch of new, digital-first advertising. These efforts seek to increase fan interaction and improve the entire league experience, resulting in a more dynamic and exciting spectacle over the following three seasons, starting with Season 2.
The relationship will also include on-the-ground activations, increased in-stadium experiences, and community-driven projects aimed at expanding the league’s reach and connecting with a larger audience. With these initiatives, the HSBC Rugby Premier League is ready to make substantial advances both on and off the pitch, bolstering its standing in India’s sports environment.
