For some reason, people treat language learning like it’s only something you can only do as a kid. Most of the apps are designed that way, and schools barely scratch the surface before moving on. As an adult you might have assumed that it’s too late or too hard, or that you’re brain’s not wired for it anymore even if you really want to learn a new language. But none of that’s actually true. If anything, it makes more sense to start when you’re older and know what you want from it. You’re not learning to pass an exam, and you’re not stuck in a classroom waiting for everyone to catch up. You’ve got a reason for doing it, and you’re in charge of how and when you learn. Here’s why it’s worth learning a language as an adult.
