Are you a PhD student seeking financial assistance to attend AIB 2025 Louisville? Apply for one of our Doctoral Student Stipends by 28 March 2025.

Successful applicants for our doctoral student stipends will receive a complimentary registration to participate in AIB 2025, as well as a lodging allowance to stay at a designated conference hotel. These stipends are available for members who are full-time Ph.D. students at the time of the deadline of this application. Preference is given to those applicants who plan to attend a pre-conference consortium (especially the Sheth/AIB Doctoral Consortium) and/or have a paper accepted for presentation at the annual meeting. The applications are competitive, and not all students who apply will receive a stipend.

All Doctoral Student Stipend applications must be submitted through our online portal. The application form will require students to provide the following materials:

1. a one-page CV
2. designate a doctoral/dissertation advisor who will email a “Statement of Support” to the AIB Secretariat.

The Statement of Support must be emailed to stipends@aib.msu.edu by the application deadline in order for a student’s travel stipend request to be considered complete.

If you are planning on applying for the stipend, do not register for AIB 2025 until you have received a formal decision on your application. The early registration deadline for the conference is 18 April 2025, but applicants who do not receive the stipend will be given an extended deadline to register at that early rate.
