Want to present your work at the world’s premier IB conference? The opportunity is at your fingertips—submissions for AIB 2026 are officially open, now through 12 January 2026.
Our 2026 Annual Meeting will be held as an in-person event. We welcome the submission of manuscripts and panel proposals that can be presented in-person, in Manchester.
Don’t know where to get started on your submission? Here a few quick tips to get you going:
- Find the track that best suits your work. Our AIB 2026 Call for Papers provides detailed descriptions of all 13 conference tracks to help you find the perfect home for your research.
- Review our submission requirements. Detailed information on session types, file formatting requirements, and general requirements for all of our presenters can be found on our Submission Guide page. Please keep in mind that AIB has a strict three-submission limit, meaning nobody may be listed as an author, co-author, or panelist on more than three submissions. This “Rule of Three” does not apply to participation in pre-conference activities, official service roles performed for AIB, or service as a session chair or speaker invited by the Program Committee.
- Connect with like-minded scholars in AIB’s Shared Interest Groups. Submitting to one of our complementary tracks on gender and diversity, teaching and education, research methods, emerging markets, or sustainability can be a great way to connect with other researchers who share your interest in these topics.
- Get to Know Our Host City: Recognized throughout the world as the birthplace of the industrial revolution, Manchester has a proud history in science, politics, music, arts, and sport. Our Host Universities, Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester, are also renowned for facilitating the exchange of fresh insights between locally-based IB practitioners and scholars from around the globe. But did you know their location just south of Manchester City Centre will also give AIB 2026 attendees ample access to many of the region’s signature historic and cultural attractions? If you haven’t already done so, we highly recommend you check out our Insider’s Guide to Manchester, which features comprehensive travel tips, Manchester-themed podcasts and playlists, and an overview of our Host City’s modern areas of industrial and academic innovation.
Thank you in advance for all of your contributions to our Annual Meeting. We look forward to seeing you in Manchester next summer!
Sincerely,
The AIB Secretariat
