Rubber bands are so useful, and not only in the office.
- I always keep some rubber bands in the kitchen to help me open jars whose tops are stuck. Place a rubber band around the cap and your grip and twist will be much improved.
- Also in the kitchen, if your cutting board slips around the counter, find two large rubber bands, and stretch one around each end, and they will prevent the board from slipping.
- Finally, if you’ve lost the metal fastening back of one of your pierced earrings, snip off a small piece of a rubber band and pierce it with the earring post. It will hold your earring in place.
